Berthing waiting times at Tema, Lome, Cotonou & Abidjan

Tema:
The Port Authority’s fender work at the MPS container terminal is due to be completed in February/March all being well, but in the meantime is causing berthing delays:
4-7 days for window vessels
10-14 days for non window vessels
GPHA break bulk pier waiting time is 12-36 hours and Takoradi is 72 hours

Lome:
Container Quay: No delay, either for berthing windows and non-windows vessel
Mineral quay: Berthing delay of  20 to 30 days due to congestion
General cargo quay: Berthing delay of 5 to 7 days due to congestion
Jetty oil: No delay

Cotonou:
No berthing delays

Abidjan
Up to 24 hrs waiting time for berth
