OMA Côte d’Ivoire opens for business

The OMA Group is delighted to introduce the latest addition to the OMA family – OMA Côte D’Ivoire (OMA CI), located in newly renovated offices close to the port of Abidjan.

The office doors opened for business on Saturday June 1st 2013.

Carine Noukpo as Acting Country Manager heads up the young dynamic OMA CI team.  Carine is also Country Manager for OMA Benin, has worked with the group for eight years and is the driving force behind OMA’s ISO accreditation.

Jean Baptiste Ado Ado, Operations Manager, joins us from Unoci where he gained excellent credentials and experience since graduating from the Regional Academy of maritime sciences and Sea techniques (ARSTM -Abidjan).

Ruth Prudence Ayé, Administrative Assistant, joins us from MOL in Abidjan.

All team members are experienced shipping professionals and look forward to providing the excellent service customers have come to expect from OMA.

OMA CI offers full liner agency, vessel husbandry, on and off shore services as well as vessel handling and logistics.

The OMA network extends across West Africa with offices in Benin, Ghana, Togo and now Côte D’Ivoire as well as European bases in the UK and Germany.

All offices operate in line with industry leaders with respect to compliance, ethics and HSSE.  OMA was the first ship agency in Benin to be awarded the ISO 9001/2008 accreditation by Moody International, all other offices are close to obtaining the same and TRACE is ongoing.
